The study revealed preferences for croissant types, with cheese croissants coming in first place at 37%, followed by butter or plain croissants at 23%, and chocolate croissants at 20%.
The figures also showed that half of consumers prefer eating croissants early in the morning with breakfast, and 28% are flexible in eating them at any time of day.
